Making a decision about changing something in your life can be quite daunting. There is the uncertainty about the future if you make the change compared with the status quo that you have got so used to and which somehow feels reassuring although not ideal.
So many people stay in dysfunctional relationships because of the uncertainty about life after the break-up. People stay in jobs they hate, because the next job may be just as bad or they do not have the confidence to take on new tasks and fear immediate failure. Perhaps you simply have a long list of things you want to change and cannot decide on where to start.
Some changes are easy to make and get on with and others are more difficult. There is no rulebook and no generic categories of what constitutes an easy, intermediate, or difficult life change. So just because your friends tell you how easy or difficult they found it making a certain change in their life does not mean that it will be just as easy or difficult for you if you are in a similar situation.
So what can you do to break the deadlock and make that positive change to your life you so desire?
