Fear of spiders in our DNA

Jun 4, 2015

Fear of spiders (arachnophobia) is one of the most common phobias and now a group of scientists suggest that the fear of spiders could be in our DNA and that our ancestors originally used this fear to protect themselves against dangerous spiders. Sounds logical enough; if you fear spiders you will be alert and aware of them and therefore able to keep your distance. These days however, most of us will only encounter quite harmless spiders around the house and in the garden, yet the fear remains in so many people.

The good news is that fear of spiders can be treated quickly and without traumatic exposure to live spiders. Thought Field Therapy is the answer. If you want to get rid of your fear of spiders or any other phobia, then please contact me: peter@better-lives.co.uk
